The number one city for golf in Florida would have to be Orlando. With Bay Hill Club and Lodge, Shingle Creek Golf Club, and Grande Pines Golf Club all rated in the top 20 golf courses in Florida it is the hands down winner. Orlando has more than 25 courses within 20 miles of the city. If the kids want to go to Disney World you can go to the Walt Disney World Golf courses while your there.

Coming in at a very close second would be Naples. Headlined by top 20 course Calusa Pines Golf Club there is a plethora of choices to get in a round of golf. Approximately 44 courses lie within a 20 mile ride of the city.

Just a few miles north of Naples is Ft Myers the number 3 top golf city in Florida. You don’t have to travel far at all in this area to find a course. Within a 6 mile radius of downtown Ft Myers you can be teeing off at one of twenty different courses.

For the very best golfers in the world Pointe Vedra Beach would have to be put on the list. It is the home of TPC Sawgrass which hosts the Tournament Players Championship. The Stadium Course, designed by Pete Dye, is considered one of the most difficult in the world.
