Front Nine - Turtle Run Golf Course
Back 9 |
The par-five first hole of our Turtle Run Golf Course is straightaway with a fairway bunker on the left side, and Scrub Jay Preservation Area on both sides, affecting your second shot. Your approach is critical with a bunker on the left and a lake and bunker on the right side of the green. |
Hole 2 is our first par three, very long, as you can see. Your tee shot has to carry straight across the water. The green is protected by a bunker in front. |
Hole 3 is one of the more difficult holes, with the Scrub Jay Preservation Area on both sides coming into play if your tee shot is not perfect. The approach to the green needs to be perfect as well, since the green has a very narrow entrance and protected by a large, deep bunker on the right and thick scrubs on the left. |
The 4th Hole is a straightaway par four, with a retention pond in play on the right hand side. As in many of our holes, the green is protected by a large bunker. |
Hole five is one of the most difficult holes on the front nine. The tee shot is across a large marsh area, with a second shot to an elevated green protected by more marsh and bunker. |
Hole 6 is a par three, that once again requires complete carry from marsh area to green, guarded by a front trap on the right side. |
The 7th Hole is a dogleg left. Drives need to be kept dead center or you will be facing the large bunker. Your approach will be to an elevated green with a bunker protecting it on the left side. |
Hole 8 is a short, but challenging par four. The hole is downhill, which normally leaves you with a wedge to the green, which is protected by two front traps and a third trap on the right side. As you hit towards the green, you are hitting towards a large area of our Scrub Jay Preserve! |
Hole 9 is a long, uphill par five. It is straightaway, but as you see in the picture, the approach to the green is very challenging. |
